Daily Hypnosis Media

Day 4: NLP(enis)

Hello, and welcome to a new mini-blog, FAN-uary, where for each of the four weeks this month I’m going to focus on a different Domme whose work I enjoy, and discuss a different video from them each day.
(This one is all video, March will most likely be the same sort of thing, but with audio)

Content reviewed in this blog is Femdom Erotic Hypnosis that will mostly be for sale. I’ll include links to where you can purchase this content, and everything posted here will be positive, but this isn’t about public worship and devotion, and I hope to find and explore interesting concepts and ideas by talking about these works with all of you.
As always, I will disclose what my relationships to these people are, if any, and while this is sale content, these write ups are not intended to be adds.

Making the content I’ll be reviewing here is hard work. It is time consuming, and it is both creatively and emotionally demanding. PAY FOR YOUR PORN.

Day 4: NLP Sexual Dominance with Alexandra Snow

Was I Hypnotized?
Yes. So I dipped under and in and out, but generally speaking once the masturbation starts I tend  to feel like I’m out of trance, and this session is like 90% masturbation.
(Sorry about the overshare, but hey, if you suffer from this response too, now you know you’re not alone)

Am I a Brainwashed Slave Yet?
Sadly no, not yet, but the way this one goes, it might be enough for you…

Why This Video?
I’m a sucker for anyone who knows their stuff offering something “non-traditional”, and I may have thought this was a different video that I’d owned before… this one, which I liked.

Does This File Include Masturbation Instruction?
Yup, like I said above, about 90% of the file is masturbation driven, and the thrust of the session is based around it.

Are There Any Suggestions, Triggers, or Post Hypnotic Suggestions?
There’s some instruction around what to do when you climax, but I’ll leave it to the video to tell you, you’ll probably like it.
If you’re hyper suggestible, well, good luck.

Other Thoughts/About The Hypnotist?
Is this where I cut a promo on what I think about NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming)?

Sure, why not?

What do you know about CrossFit?
Here’s what I know about it.
Someone took a bunch of tried and true work out elements, put them all together, and then branded it as CrossFit.
That… that and kettlebells.
NLP is the CrossFit of the pop psychology and the sales world.
(Also because NLP and CrossFit are both cult-y)
It’s a bunch of communications tools that, in their proper context, have a history of being effective, mashed together into a school of thought about how and why people respond to language. It is based on how we use language to contextualize and abstract our experiences, meaning we use language to create reality, and can use language to in turn re-frame it.
There’s plenty in NLP about mirroring, ideas about how we don’t actually understand/hear the word don’t, and all kinds of other stuff like that.
I’ve never taken an NLP class, but my life coach older sister, and my ex-girlfriend former hypnotherapist/pro hypnodomme both have taken a bunch of them, and I’ve gotten a lot about it from both of them, but as you can tell by my semi-dismissive tone, I only buy into it so much.
(I also worked in sales, so…)
NLP is a theory of communication, not a vocabulary. There are words that work well in the theory and application of the theory, but just like hypnosis, its not a series of buzz words strung together to create a magical end result.

So, back to the video we’re talking about today.
The idea of the induction in this session is a combination of a few solid hypnosis tricks, a few language and tone tricks, and some communication concepts that are very NLP-y.
Something strikes me about Snow that she’s the kind of person that would take NLP classes, both because she seems curious about big concepts, and it doesn’t seem like she does anything in her work half-way.
But like I said, I don’t know her so this is supposition that may be a reflection of her projected modality.

Also, like I said, it’s a concept that tries to explain and contextualize language and communication “phenomenon”, all of which appears naturally in human communication, which means there’s no real need for me to argue for or against this being “real NLP”.
I’ve talked around and about the importance of authenticity and its subsequent connected primacy when it comes to hypnosis, buuuuut since I’m like half out on NLP, I don’t really feel the need to go deep into that.
Just like there’s an upper limit to what hypnosis can do, the same can be said for for techniques like re-framing.

Okay, if you’re like “Hey Max, maybe try talking a little more about this hypnotist you’re pretending to write about”, let’s see if that’ll happen for the next entry…
