Day 8: The Sound of Musical Mesmerization

Hello, and welcome to a new mini-blog, FAN-uary, where for each of the four weeks this month I’m going to focus on a different Domme whose work I enjoy, and discuss a different video from them each day.
(This one is all video, March will most likely be the same sort of thing, but with audio)

Content reviewed in this blog is Femdom Erotic Hypnosis that will mostly be for sale. I’ll include links to where you can purchase this content, and everything posted here will be positive, but this isn’t about public worship and devotion, and I hope to find and explore interesting concepts and ideas by talking about these works with all of you.
As always, I will disclose what my relationships to these people are, if any, and while this is sale content, these write ups are not intended to be adds.

Making the content I’ll be reviewing here is hard work. It is time consuming, and it is both creatively and emotionally demanding. PAY FOR YOUR PORN.

Diana Rey Day 1 of 7: Musical Mesmerization

Who is this Domme?
Diana Rey (that’s the link to her ABOUT on her site) is, in my words, a hypnotist who puts a focus on creativity, and exploration of the mediums of video and audio to create unique and erotic sexy hypnosis experiences.
Her Twitter handle is @paydianarey, so you should probably get a good sense of a good part of her approach, but she’s not a fuck-you-pay-me domme, and she also offers occult services like tarot readings.

Disclosure: While I don’t really know her in any meaningful way… like I don’t know if she has pets, or is a vegetarian, or anything at all, but she’s someone I consider a friend in the industry and I feel like for the sake of editorial integrity, you all deserve to know that.
But that’s not why I’m doing this, it’s all because of her work.

Was I Hypnotized?

Am I a Brainwashed Slave Yet?
Uh… maybe? I’ve been watching/listening to her stuff for a while, so I’m saying there’s a chance.

Why This Video?
Diana Rey has an interesting approach to her catalogue. Every year she rolls out a new trigger word that she uses for that year’s content, so there’s always an accessible jumping on point with her work.
This session is this year’s new word: DUSK.
Previous years’ words are: Abattoir (slaughterhouse… see, she’s fun), and Flux.

Does This File Include Masturbation Instruction?
It does not.

Are There Any Suggestions, Triggers, or Post Hypnotic Suggestions?
Yes, as I said, there’s the DUSK trigger .. and I don’t know if it has a specific function other than dropping the subject, because I blanked out for the last half of the video.
This is kind of a unique experience for me, because in videos I usually keep my eyes open to watch, because it helps me have a physical response.
My eyes will close for a moment or two, then they’ll open, then they’ll close over and over, and this is in part because you get videos so you can watch them right?
And what good is a video if your eyes are closed for half of it?

The answer my friends is, pretty damn good if the first half sends you down into that hypnotic amnesiac sleep.
I’ll go so far as to say this as well. I think she’s hot. I think in a fair chunk of her videos her hotness plays a role in the intention and direction of the video, this is not a “Diane Rey’s Hotness Is On Display” video, but don’t worry, we’ll be watching some of those too.

Other Thoughts/About The Hypnotist?
I think it’s not a leap to say I really like her work, which again is kind of a duh statement because why else would I be focusing on her work right?
But I there’s something else I want to talk about.

No, not your questions, but the way our minds respond to questions. We, as humans, like to answer questions, we like to know things, we like to have resolution, and that ties in with music.

Music is a pattern right? Rhythm is a continues repetition of notes/sounds over and over, and in a way, when we hear this, we’re hearing a question.
Okay, stick with me here as someone who is not a musicologist tries to bungle his way through music talk.
When the rhythm ends and is about to re-set/start its cycle over (how can someone who loves music as much as me not know the vocab… oh, I never learned to play an instrument), there’s a pause, a beat where our minds are asking the question of what comes next, what’s going to happen, and when we hear the rhythm repeat we fall back into it.
So, if you’re focused on that as a background sound while someone is hypnotizing you, all those little pauses add up and create a level of mental anxiety that preps the flight or fight state of the mind that can then be dumped into the trance state when the hypnotist gives you the out of going into trance.
This is all HMI hypnosis theory, and I mentioning it because music and focus on a beat does play a role in this session.
(And I think I did an okay job explaining that. The woman that taught me was/is a devotee of HMI so I got the idea of it all, but maybe not the vocab.)

So, there we are, day one with Diana Rey, day two is probably gonna be way more pervy.

Contact me HERE with your thoughts, your suggestions for other videos, or anything else for that matter.

I kind of wish you would devote three days to a specific domme instead of 7, that only allows for exploring 4 dommes in the month

There are some practical reasons behind doing 7 days, and on only focusing on 4 Dommes, one of which is a very boring reason.
But hey, I like doing these so it’s not like I’ve got a limited amount of time before I stop.

I’m assuming one week will be devoted to Madam Violet, Alexandra Snow and Madam Violet are probably the most popular video making hypnodommes/ fetishist

She is not on the list, believe it or not. She’s someone I’ve never really gotten into, but who knows what the future holds…
