Who is this Domme?
Goddess Alexandra Snow is a a Pro Domme who practices a wide and diverse range of fetishes both in person and via content.
I think it’s safe to say that she’s pretty famous and popular, and chances are you already know who she is before reading this mini-article.
She is a personal inspiration of mine based on the way she views and interacts with this work, the way she works to help explain, explore, and communicate D/s to the scene as a whole, and how she embraces her work with creativity and sincerity in execution.
While I don’t know her at all, I did have the occasion to meet her and have a very pleasant, short conversation about our scene, her work, and my appreciation for her.
Over these entries I’ll do my best not to be irritating and effusive, but just know that I’ll gladly admit to being totally in the bag for her work, and while I haven’t loved everything she’s done, I’m only sharing the stuff that I do love.

Was I Hypnotized?
Yes! When I first saw this video I did the whole watch it every day thing so I’m pretty practiced at dropping for her. I did watch the next ones in the series, but it’s like I’ve said before, I’m not great with suggestions so they weren’t as fun for me as just going under. The next ones are pretty fucking sexy though, I recommend them.
Now to answer your next question, no, these 7 days are not going to be all this series, there’s a lot of stuff to explore, but down below I will be talking about the series more.

Why This Video?
Goddess Snow’s work came into my life in late 2013/early 2014 when I was starting to explore new people and new work. She was recommended to me by someone in the scene and I started to check out her listings, and web presence etc.
I think there are some very obvious reasons why I was drawn to her, but being a hypnosis fetishist, it was the quality of her work that really stuck with me.
I’ve probably bored everyone to death with all my talk about making hypnosis driven content versus hypnosis themed content by now so I’ll skip that, and just say that it seemed like she transitioned from one to the other (oh this is total speculation on my part), and added hypnosis to her repertoire, and it seemed (again “seemed” because I have no fucking clue at all and may just be projecting and or/jumping to conclusions here), like it was happening or had happened right around-ish the same time I starting to follow her work.
So, why this video?
Because I was a shitty subject at the time, and there was something easy and accessible about someone making a video and running through the basics.
For me the video format was incredibly useful because I could gauge my eyes wanting to close etc. as proof (see hypnotic convincers) that something was happening. Right around the time I was watching Dipti and Alicia on YouTube I was also buying this video and much more of her content. It really was the sexy version of those vanilla videos.
So I got into her content, and it was content that was lost, and then re-purchased, and then partially re-lost due to computer crashes and over all irresponsibility on my part, so this is the second or third time I’ve bought his video.
Anyhow, why this video?
Because this is day 1, and this is a very day 1 friendly example of her work. It shows off her charisma, her intensity, and her engagement with the material in a very grounded and sexy way.

Are There Any Suggestions, Triggers, or Post Hypnotic Suggestions?
Yes, it’s a suggestion to drop into trance quickly and easily when she gives you the trigger phrase.
Other Thoughts/About The Hypnotist?
Let’s talk about dedication.
I’m what scientists call a hypno-whore. A hypno-whore is someone who doesn’t have one set Domme, and trances around. There are ups and downs to this.
Up: you try new things in your never ending existential quest to find the happiness you’re looking for by patching the hole inside you with a quick fetish fix that you hope, maybe just maybe, will be the magic bullet to make you feel whole and satisfied.
Down: you’ll never really get that far in developing with a hypnotist.
So unlike real time face to face D/s relationships, the relationships we have with content creators are just that. They’re like any other media people who make work we enjoy, and often times that’s how we consume it.
That is, of course, not what happens when you have a dedicated D/s relationship with someone, and yes, it is possible to have remote relationships, and yes plenty of people do have a single relationship with one domme’s work.
I myself have done that, but since late 13 early 14, I’ve been (falling into a deep) sleeping around, and it really is something that’s organic to the scene, it’s not just fickle taste.
But then there’s work like this.
This file tells you flat out:
Do this, practice it, take it seriously, listen every day, it takes time to form a relationship to this work.
And this is important because the premise of the file is that it’s not about fucking around and playing with the fantasies, it’s about building a real relationship.
This is going to sound like an abrupt segue but there’s a real practical limit on what hypnosis can do, especially one 20 minute video you watch once.
It’s as I’ve said before, hypnosis is not magic, and one of the great things about this video is that it lays down the practical devotional dedication and practice required by the subject to then be able to enjoy more complex and powerful hypnotic experiences.
A lot of what’s going to be posted over the next 4 weeks is stuff that’s going to be more out there, less grounded, and more “fun” than this, but this session is a great taste of real expectations and the real work it takes to be a hypnotized submissive.

Being a hypno-whore doesn’t mean you can’t build a meaningful relationship, it just means the Domme you consider serving will need to be ok with you exploring other Domme’s hypno videos. There needs to be rules created, like if you explore a peculiar fetish with Her you compromise that you will not watch other Domme’s hypno videos playing around with that particular fetish.
As far as hypnosis driven content and hypnosis theme content, this is a hard one because they can be mixed, a hypnosis driven content clip can very much be a hypnosis themed content video. The problem is with random people wanting to make hypnosis videos that knows nothing about hypnosis just because they know it is popular. So in order to get into that subject the term hypnosis theme needs to be defined (by hypnosis themed do you mean a person trying to attempt to make a hypnosis video without studying it or just a video where the hypnotist decides to get more creative than just looking into the camera and waving a pendant or whatever else the hypnotist decides to hypnotize you with), but really all this comes down to is whether the person doing the hypnotizing understands what they are doing, in the end both ways can lead to failure and dissatisfaction with the subject. A person can attempt to make a traditional hypno clip clip and fail just like the could do a more elaborate clip that is sexier and fail but leave the subject in a feeling of meh on the one hand there was visual satisfaction and the other they didn’t go deep.

It took my a while writing about this stuff before I settled on the terms themed and driven. I think about a third of my “Know Your Fetish” blogs talk about this, and the working definitions I use are:
Hypnosis Themed Content: It’s about hypnosis, not actually containing hypnosis. Hypnosis themed content is like any other fetish themed porn, and it plays by porn rules. I can’t recall exactly which one of the Tubenosis ASMR video entries it is, but I talk about how you can “accidentally” or fake your way into hypnosis if you have the right combination of factors and a little luck, and that’s something I’ve been thinking about regarding themed porn for a while, so the ASMR thing really helped me figure it out and put it together. Basically while themed hypno porn “can” hypnotize you, it’s not the intention.
And/or, as you say, it’s someone who doesn’t know what they’re doing and trying to do it anyway, in which case its lack of success moves it into the themed category.
I’ve tried to be pretty positive about themed content to both be diplomatic, and also to try and be informative about the differences.
Hypnosis Driven Content: It’s content that’s intended to hypnotize you, made by hypnotists. Of course, the problem here is how subjective hypnosis is, which is one of many reasons I haven’t made a “real hypnotists” list for people… also, you know, because I don’t want to piss off any potential clients… Mainly what I want to get across to people is a vocabulary and skill set to help them find what they want, and to explore why they want what they want.
And this has got me thinking that I need to make a terminology page because I finally have enough jargon to merit it, and is so doing, have fully emulated one of my journalistic heroes, Bill “The Sports Guy” Simmons.
Also, I 100% agree with you on the hypnoslut thing, I was being a little tongue in cheek there, and or course the only rules are the ones “you” (not you-you, but the general you) establish with your Domme!

I also some what agree on your hypnoslut concept to, I’m in a domme relationship where she doesn’t like me to watch other videos outside of hers, but I do find I grow some resentment in our relationship not having that ability to watch other’s work, but communication is the key in any relationship and the ability to come up with a fair compromise that is fair for both of you is important.
Also with the hypnotist list, we are all attracted to different things from a hypnotist in order to be entranced by them, you have to enjoy their voice, feel at least a little bit of trust in the person, and like the hypnotist induction style. If you don’t like their induction style your going to get lost in your head thinking this is stupid thus making it harder to go into trance. So how could you make a definitive list of real hypnotist, the best you could do is reveal a list of hypnotists that your a personal fan of or in other words reveal your hypnotic kink to another, which is cool in its on right because it is sharing a personal piece of yourself. For myself I work better with visual hypnosis(it gives me something to focus on) than mp3 style hypnosis (not as good at picturing the image he hypnotist wants to create to distract my mind with) , not that I can’t go into a good trance with a mp3, just that with enough conditioning with mp3’s I don’t fall into a deep trance but fall asleep completely, which to the best of my knowledge isn’t the intention of hypnosis, to fall deep asleep upon the end of the session yes, but not during the session.
